Overview
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst/PM who covers the front-back aspects of SDLC; starting with analysis phase of a project and can design optimal target state business processes, including aspects outside own area of responsibility to ensure target processes are designed and aligned front to back.
End to end delivery from requirements analysis, solution and process design, data transformation, documentation, implementation and testing.
To succeed in this role, you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to nontechnical users.
You will be joining the L1 Controls and Surveillance team within Regulatory & Cross Product IT delivering Front-Office controls, Trader, and Counterparty surveillance across all business sections of Deutsche Bank

• You are part of the agile development team and are responsible for the technical and functional analysis in close collaboration with all stakeholders (e.g., business units, operations, development team, product owner). As a Technical BA/PM, you will take on a leading role in the team and share responsibility for product delivery i.e. ownership and/or influence on production and digital assets
• Design and conceptualize new business solutions, clearly articulate potential impacts, and risks to the program; Develops hypotheses to explain why usability, process, functional and data issues have occurred or are likely to occur i.e. detail applications that will be used
• Works with engineers, to prioritize, trouble shoot and resolve reported bugs / issues / CRs (change requests) on applications; Drives data discovery, sourcing, modelling, and analytics to support the creation of data flows and models. This includes researching and profiling data sources in data categories of expertise
• You focus primarily on the functional and technical design as well as documentation of the user stories, work closely with the developers and ensure the coordination of the implementation regarding the technical requirements and the architecture
• You will contribute to team standards, technical best practices and quality standards and ensure that the team meets these standards
• Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems How You'll Lead
• Play leading role in talented software team, providing your guidance and influence on core design and decision making, growing team expertise, lead RnD and component development, actively engaging in design sessions with the global development team
• Collaborate and maintain clear and open communication with the team, while sharing your experience with entire Engineering organization
• Adopt engineering mindset of Technology, Data, & Innovation (TDI) and mentor team members effectively, Be a role-model Skills You'll Need
• Educated to bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification
• Extensive Information Technology (IT) work experience and Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience in the Investment Bank or Large Financial Institution
• A good working knowledge and understanding of front to back system architecture within an investment bank alongside experience within Auditing and Investment Banking
• Hands-on experience in software development from inception through to delivery using any programming language; along with strong knowledge on technology & database concepts, Structured Query Language (SQL), Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), software development life cycle (SDLC) Principles and Controls
• Excellent analytical skills coupled with experience in high volume data and the Ability to do code reviews/ PR reviews; ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions Skills That Will Help You Excel
• Complex tasks decomposition, ownership, and ability to deliver result
• Good verbal and written communication and ability to put tech concepts in plain language
• Strong knowledge on technology & database concepts, SQL, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), SDLC Principles and Controls
• Additional People and IT Skills - Python, Tableau, People Management and experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
